Angel Flanagan is inspired by the rugged Nova Scotia coastlines, roaring winds and crashing waves. Sometimes she goes slipping along seemingly undiscovered and silent soft moss covered paths through the forest. A fascination with changing landscape is explored throughout her work. Angel also captures images of people as well as nature and documents the work of Nova Scotian and Canadian artists such as woodcarvers, jewelry makers, tattooists, painters, stained glass artists, potters, comedians, musicians, athletes & more.
Flanagan's work has been published nationally, provincially and locally in The Chronicle Herald, Le Courrier de la Nouvelle Ecosse, Xalt Magazine, Coastal Life Magazine & The Clare Shopper. She also creates sea glass art and handmade bath products.
